These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by DBD Home Services ("Company"). By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.
1. Services:
The Company provides labor-only moving services to customers in Georgia. These services include but are not limited to loading and unloading of items, packing and unpacking, and furniture assembly and disassembly.
2. Booking and Payment:
Customers can book our services through our website, by phone, or in person. Payment for services is due upon completion of the job, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. We accept credit cards, and other forms of payment as specified on our website.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling:
Customers can book our services via our website, phone, or in person. A 2-hour minimum, equivalent to the booking deposit, is required and must be paid the day before your move, unless otherwise arranged in writing. Additional hours can be paid for after the service is completed. We accept credit cards and other specified forms of payment on our website.
4. Liability:
While we take every precaution to ensure the safe handling of your belongings, the Company shall not be liable for any damage or loss to items being moved, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of our employees.
5. Indemnification:
You agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of your use of our services, including but not limited to any damage to property or injury to persons.
6. Governing Law:
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of Georgia.
7. Changes to Terms:
The Company reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms on our website.
